4mm Black Onyx Loose Round Bead String length is approximately 39-40cm and will contain around 94-100 beads, but this can sometimes be more or less as occasionally, due to the cutting process, the bead size may vary (3.8-4.9mm). If the average bead size are a little larger then you can get fewer beads on the string for the same length. The standard hole size is 0.7mm - 0.8mm.

Onyx is variety of Chalcedony Quartz, ranging from white to Black. For centuries now the black variety of this semi-precious gemstone has been very popular in the form of both Cabochons and Beads in jewellery making.

Healing Properties: Onyx is said to promote happiness and control emotions. It is also associated with increased health, stamina, self control, courage and Intuition.
