4mm Mother of Pearl Loose Round Bead String length is approximately 39-40cm and will contain around 94-100 beads, but this can sometimes be more or less as occasionally, due to the cutting process, the bead size may vary (3.8-4.9mm). If the average bead size are a little larger then you can get fewer beads on the string for the same length. The standard hole size is 0.7mm - 0.8mm.

Mother Of Pearl also known as ‘Nacre’ is the internal layer of many Mollusc (Oyster) shells. It comes in various shades from light to dark and it is Mother Of Pearls Iridescence that gives it its beauty and it is also why it is widely used as beads or cabochons in all types of jewellery making.
