8mm Amethyst Loose Round Bead String length is approximately 39-40cm and will contain around 48-50 beads, but this can sometimes be more or less as occasionally, due to the cutting process, the bead size may vary (7.8-8.5mm). If the average bead size are a little larger then you can get fewer beads on the string for the same length. The standard hole size is 0.8mm.

Amethyst is a vibrant purple/violet variety of Quartz and has been used as beads or pendants for jewellery making for thousands of years, dating as far back as the ancient Egyptians.

Healing meanings: Amethyst is said to activate spiritual awareness, opens intuition and enhances

psychic abilities. It has strong healing and cleansing powers. This semi-precious gemstone is said to be very healing of the mind, body and soul.
